Emily grew up in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and has trained extensively in ballet, jazz and modern. She's danced with Citie Company in Canda. She performed classical roles with Citie Ballet such as doll "Coppelia", soloist work in Le Corsaire, and the Spanish Dance from the Nutcracker. She has also had contemporary work created on her for Mile Zero Dance Company in Canada and by William Thompson of Citie Ballet.
After attending the ballet schools in Okinawa, Japan, then decided to move to New York to pursue her dance career full time. Since relocating, she's dance with Saba Dance Theatre and LiNK Contemporary Jazz Dance Company, at venues such as the French Institute's room in NYC. Emily has modeled for renowned dance photographer Lois Greenfield, Shen Tao Company and others.
Recently Emily performed at the International Dance Festival in New York, at the Monterrey Dance Festival in California and adjudicated the Santana Dance Festival in Sherwood Park, AB. Her upcoming engagement include performances with Chase Brock Experience in New York. She is sponsored by Bloch and is in the process of helping them design a new shoe!
